Scam Description
Using Park Mobile App to pay for parking near Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center – pay and continue to pay through the duration of parking there. Get ticket from “Park Place” despite having paid and still having additional time remaining. Contact Park Place and they offer to reduce the amount of the fine – only saying via email “can not waive your violation” but will reduce it to $20. This is a SCAM issuing a violation for paid parking and then reducing the Fraudulent Fine just to get you to pay. NO ONE THERE WILL EXCEPT A CALL – they hide behind email. Received a notice now to pay them $90 via mail – I will be this onto the DA’s office since they mailed it, now it is mail fraud.
