Scam Description
This is the only answer I can receive from this frudulent business(SEE BELOW). I asked for help for an issue I was having with my PC and they promised that I could apply for a trial membersip that assured a full refund If I was not satisfied with their service. After I explained my issue the agent simply did an automatic download on my printer when all I asked for was help with my camera. Since they had no solution for the camera issue “just answer” downloaded a $46 update to my printer which I neither wanted nor asked for. In the meantime they had gained total access to my personal note file on my PC and erased all of the transactions I had been saving in order to appeal to my credit card for fraudulent avtivity. Now I have no information except the “chat” session that I had with the agent who scammed me for $46. I did mamage to send that chat to my credit card company and they are investigating the issue.
Please investigate “just answer” to see if any other complaints have been registered with BBB.
Also, they have made their customer service system very difficult to deal with as well. They can easily erase any attempt at complaints and caue you to have to to start allover again with any complaint you have
