Scam Description
The caller ID on my phone indicated it was Centerpoint. This this is one of my utility companies. They stated that my service was about to be disconnected unless I made a payment immediately. They said it needed to be from my bank and through Zelle. The payment was made to Centerpoint Payment. Additionally, they tried to get another security deposit of $500. Regretfully, they got my “supposed” past due amount.
