Scam Description

Spectrum caller asked to shut off the TV so they could update the box. They called back a few minutes later asking to turn on the TV and note the increased clarity in the picture. The caller said they would make additional changes including a reduction in her monthly bill to $74. a monthly ( she’s paying $115. currently) BUT she had to send an additional $190.00 to process changes.
She wrote out the check and was ready to send it but stop to she called Spectrum to ask additional questions. Spectrum Cable confirmed that they never called and do not send any money,
