Scam Description
I knew that our company hadn’t requested Geek Squad for service for quite awhile. After listening to radio station 720 this week, I was cautious & hesitant to call, but felt that I should find out how they got our bank account number as the email stated that they would be automatically withdrawing $389.99 that day. Our account number wasn’t included in email. Speaking to who I thought was a rep of Geek Squad, he had difficulty speaking English & he wasn’t able to answer my questions without hemming & hawing, & he finally told me I would need to contact Best Buy to get my questions answered, said he’d transfer me, but instead he hung up. I tried to copy the email & it wouldn’t allow me to.
