Scam Description
I got a text in badly written grammar that said I was selected as one of 200 people selected to receive $500,000 from lottery winner Manuel Franco. It did seem a bit sketchy, asking me to text this random number for my award, but figured what harm is a text. I did text, but then when whoever was on the other end started asking for personal info, I was like I’m so done with this and blocked them. I assume they were trying to get my info or money but I didn’t follow through long enough, hopefully, before I got a bad feeling they were asking too much.
