Scam Description
Friend recommended him to fix my doors and kitchen cabinets. He came, measured, seemed professional, actually unclogged my kitchen sink. He showed me the doors from Menard’s and kitchen cabinets from Home Depot on line and I picked out the ones I wanted. He said he didn’t have any blank contracts with him but would bring them next time. He asked for money to buy the doors and cabinets, I wrote checks and he said he’d drop the materials off in my garage that night. It got late and when I texted him to ask about the materials, he said he’d drop them off the next day. That’s the last I ever heard of him, despite my many calls, messages and texts.
