Scam Description
I am expecting a package. When I received their email on 12/10/22 stating the following, “Fedex will help to Get Your Suspended Package”, I clicked on it. It states that I have a suspended package and that I owe $1.95, and so Fedex is holding my package. I typed in my gift card number to pay the charge. I immediately checked my balance on my card. They had made two charges on my account, one for $135 and another for $6.95. At 11:22 am, I called the customer number that the scammers have on their website, (855) 619-2594. A live person answered the call. He said that he will cancel my subscription to a contest that I had paid to be in, and therefore, my card will not be charged. It is now 8:19 pm, and my card has not been refunded. Because of this, I believe that it is a scam.
