Scam Description

The individual on the call stated that they were with some type of Medicare Benefits to provide free services along with your Medicare plan. They asked me for my age and Instagram or Snapchat handle. I’m assuming they asked for my age as a tactic to get into my social media accounts, and they were possibly going to ask for more identifiable information to either get my email account information or possibly guess my passwords. The individual on the phone had what I am assuming was an Indian accent, and seemed to be a young adult male. He told me that he loved my voice and that he loved me after I repeatedly told him that this was a scam and that I was going to report the phone number to the BBB if they did not put me on their “Do Not Call” list. I believe the comments he made were in an attempt to flatter me and make me more inclined to provide personal information. They then hung up after they realized that I was not going to provide information.
