Scam Description
Purchased on line about a free gift I won from ACE Hardware. I choose Ring door bell. Only had to pay shipping charge of $5.96.
When I checked my statement I was charged an additional $63.71.
First I contacted my credit card company on line. And they are checking into matter. But will have to wait up to 15 days for a reply.
Today I contacted company and was told that I have now signed up for a subscription.
I was told that it was in terms and conditions.
To me this is a SCAM. False advertising and using a company that I do business with ACE hardware to get me to tell me that I won a prize.
Anyway, supposedly they are canceling my subscription but was told that I still was required to pay $63.71.
Still waiting to see what will happen.
