Scam Description
We purchased a Vanilla Gift Card and loaded $400 to the card. The new packaging for the gift card exposes the bar code on the back allowing thieves to get info about the card. After purchasing the gift card we went to use it and it stated insufficient funds even though we just purchased it. Cash App users had already stolen our money before we even walked out the door. Upon contacting cash app they refused to address the situation. Vanilla gift card (Visa) is also refusing to address the theft.
