Scam Description
I disputed a business charge of $39.97 on 7/12/23 from MEARALIVINGINC. Mastercard came back saying the company indicated I participated in the transaction. I asked MC what information proved to them I had participated in the sale. (Apparently a name, address and CSC) I phoned Meara Living and was told there was not a transaction shown for my name/address for $39.97 on that date but there was one on 7/14/23 for $199.80, which was declined (because I called MC about fraudulent $39.97 charge and card was shut down). Meara rep said they sell app access for fitness programs. As a fitness business owner, I would not be making this purchase. I feel they are targeting companies, perhaps fitness businesses, for this small amount thinking no one will bother to follow-up.
