Scam Description
Last month, I joined a golf cart club. I found Michael Paulino who si supposed to be in Columbus, Ohio with Arons Golfcarts, fka Mikes Golfcarts, and sent him a message through FB. I was trying to get a new roof for my golf cart. He told me to use Paypal or Zelle, but the accounts were not in his name, so I canceled the payments. Then he told me to buy Amazon gift cards for himself and the shipper, Zebra Express Logistics whose phone number is 937-568-1066. I bought the gift cards at Walgreens and Publix. both had warnings which I had to read and agree that I understood the terms of buying giftcards before the purchase. I just signed, I didn’t ask any questions about the transactions. When I try calling the number, I never got an answer, but they do respond to texts. I have kept a copy of all of my text messages.
