Scam Description

I purchased two dresses and one top from Klynu on July 4th. The total amount was $117. The merchandise arrived about two weeks later but the quality was very poor and nothing fit. Per instructions on the merchant’s website, I emailed them a return authorization request. The company responded with an offer of a $15 refund and keeping the clothes. I said no, I didn’t want clothes that don’t fit, and asked for a refund. Klynu continued to refuse my return and, instead, via an additional five email exchanges, increased the refund amount to a maximum of $40, claiming the cost of return shipping was prohibitive. In our last exchange, I pointed out that their website states the company is based in the USA, and the products are all made and shipped from South Carolina. If true, shipping back to their warehouse would not be expensive and I would pay for it. At that point, I was informed the company operates out of Dubai, not the US which, I concluded, is why they resisted the return. Over the course of a week and multiple email exchanges, it became apparent that Klynu is engaging in deceptive practices and the website information is false.
