Scam Description
On July 17, 2022, I went online to purchase pit bull puppies. I came across pantherpitbullpuppiesforsale.com & sent them an inquiry. They quickly replied explaining that their puppies were all UKC & ABKC registered, home raised, vet checked, first shots and potty pad trained. And that they shipped the puppies via airplane using a professional pet shipping agency. They said the charge for the puppy named Nicki was $800, $500 deposit fee, plus $200 shipping fee. They said the dog came with heath guarantee, vaccination records, dewormed record, nutritional manual, traveling crates, playing toys. They pretend they care where the make belief they care for the puppies by asking you questions like are you married, how familiar are you with pits, promise to take care of pet, are you a breeder, intend to breed puppy, do you have any vet near you. Also, they send you many generic pictures of pits. Ultimately, I was supposed to buy 2 dogs for $800 each for a total of $1600, so I sent them $500 one time and then another $500 the second time through Zelle on 7/18/22. I was supposed to send them the other $600 after midnight, because my bank put a limit since I had never used Zelle before. I never received the dog, never sent them any more money and blocked them.
