Scam Description
A special one day offer on Hey Dude shoes was advertised on Facebook. Given that the site used a current Hey Dude logo and the website appeared to look exactly like the Hey Dude site that I used in the past, I thought it was legitimate. I ordered 6 pairs of shoes and used my bank debit card to pay. After placing the order, I received an email that appeared legitimate along with an email address to contact with any questions. This order was placed in June 2023. I received a tracking notice a month or so later. Seeing that the products where being shipped from China let me know that this was basically a scam. I kept checking the tracking notice when in August I noticed my shoes where delivered to a city in Texas (I am located in Pennsylvania) stating that the package was “left with an individual”. So, I contacted the email address (sily@peachcher.com). I have now sent 5 emails to the address and each time I am given the run-around. First told they would look into it, then I should contact my post office, then they would contact the logistics company, then they would re-ship. It is now November and still no product. I’ve sent messages to the email stating I want a refund, but they won’t refund my money. Every time I try accessing their “store”, it states “Sorry, the shop you are looking is closed right now, please try again later”. The “store” never seems to be open…https://zoujian111.myshopline.com/. If I realized the products where coming from China, I would NEVER have ordered, but shame on me…..when something is too good to be true, it is!!! Don’t fall for great deals on popular products!
