Scam Description
My mother found the website, fell in love with “Bailey”, and began email correspondence with the seller. The seller was very responsive to my mother’s questions. Finally, my mother decided that she wanted the puppy and she was told to pay the total amount of $700 via venmo or zelle. The seller instructed her how to do that and asked for a screenshot for evidence. My mother became suspicious and asked the seller if she could have me pickup the puppy and asked for an address and a phone number. The seller gave us a false address at: 2517 Market St, Charlotte, NC 28215. We tried calling and texting the phone number (336-525-7233), but no response. My mother asked to cancel the transaction via text and email, but no response.
