Scam Description
I ordered a car part from Edmond on Instagram from the Allthings Honda car parts sight. I paid $100 for the part and $50 for shipping. Shortly after he gave me a tracking number. A couple of days later I tried tracking my package but it just said in transit. I gave it another day, same thing. I emailed the courier company 3 times, they do not have a phone. I got back in touch with Edmond at Allthings Honda, he said he contacted them and they would be in touch.They emailed me and said they were holding my package until the insurance was paid. Nothing was ever mentioned about insurance, the sender usually pays that. He emailed me back with the money apps they use but no amount. I told him I can’t pay without the amount. He sent back 102. Very unprofessional. I did some checking and this courier service didn’t exist either. And the car parts place wouldn’t give me a phone number not respond to me after that. I have sent the person I paid through Paypal which also denied my request to get a refund back from them, the lady an email letting her know I wanted a refund and also the Instagram address and the one at the Honda Gmail address. The FTC said to also report to them. But Express Global Carrier Services in Reno, NV does not exist either. The operator couldn’t even find it. But they are still on Instagram today and will not respond to me. I’m in NC. Thank you,
