Scam Description
I ordered 3 items from “bemadeofcute” in September of 2022. I received 2 of the 3 items. When contacting “bemadeofcute” about my missing item, they immediately started playing ring around the rosie with several different fabricated scenarios that I wasn’t complaining about. I kept reiterating my issue of my missing item to them, but they kept up with the back and forth. I was asking for either the item or a refund for the missing item. They kept mentioning other “issues” that I hadn’t mentioned and refused to give back even half of what the item was worth. After 52 emails, they claimed they did the best they could with a final refund offer of $12 and nothing was resolved due to their negligence. I never received the item or the money for that item. I tried to stay calm through the back and forth, but after maybe 40 emails, I started getting noticeably frustrated with the service I was receiving. After not receiving the item and the issues I was having via the emails, I googled reviews and found that 98% of people who reviewed their experience all said it was a scam and didn’t receive their items or money back either. There are also over 37 Facebook pages of this business, all with very limited information and posts of their products. I believe this company should either be held liable and/or business should cease so others are not also scammed out of their money. Attached is a redacted copy of the 52 emails to/from this company, “bemadeofcute”.
