Scam Description
Auction site advertised on Facebook for repo cars at great values. Once I won the bid on a desired vehicle, they asked for the money to be wired but would not/could not give a VIN# for the vehicle. Sounded too fishy to me. When I investigated other sites I found many complaints about their company name and some of their alias names. To register for the auction site I had to upload a government ID – Driver’s lic. front and back. Now I fear my identity has been compromised.
