Scam Description
Chris Fortenbery represented his company Pool Pro Solutions with a contract to build me a pool in June 2021. He took a first payment of $4500. Didn’t hear back from him until July 2021. He told me that I had to get an escalator to dig the hole. Then he wanted $6000 to repair his truck and buy more materials. I gave him a certified check in that amount. He then poured a concrete foundation and laid concrete blocks for the walls. He returned several more times wanting more money and doing little work over the next 18 months until his helper stole a 12’ lighter log worth over $1000. When he returned the last time on 27 Mar 2023 to collect his equipment, his helper tried to hit me. My friend that heard the altercation over my phone, reported the incident to the local sheriff’s department , Attorney General and BBB.
