Scam Description
Justin Harrison came knocking on my door on 9/14/2022, asked to redo my driveway for a huge discount. Justin told me usually it will cost $8,000 to do what I want done, but he will do it for $3,800 if I let him do it that day. I asked him how much asphalts is he going to lay down? He promised 2.5 inches, I agree to let him do my driveway. Ended up he only applied a thin layer on top of my old driveway. I also paid for him to add on a one car parking spot on the side of the garage. He poured about 1 inch of asphalt on that area. After I paid him in cash, he got in his truck and left without given me any receipt or paper works. All I got was his business card with no address on it. Just name, phone and email.
Three days later plants and grass started to sprout through the add on side of the driveway. I called Justin to come back and fix it, Justin told me he is finishing up another job and won’t be able get back to my driveway in another 4 to 5 days. Five days later nobody shows up, so I called Justin back. This time he told me his nephew is getting a heart surgery and his is still finishing up another job. So he don’t know when he will be able to get to my driveway. I told him this can’t be dragging on too long or I have to report this as a scam and fraud.
Then Justin got violent and said, “Fuck you and your driveway, I am not fixing your driveway, keep calling me about your driveway and I will come dig up your driveway.” Then he hung up, I called back but he won’t pick up.
This guy is a desperate scammer and a criminal, once he got your money he will not care about your home improvement.
