Scam Description

I answered a call on my cell phone from US Financial Assistance Department. Health Enrollment Center. The caller told me I did not have to pay any money or answer any personal questions. No banking information was needed. They would ask me a number of questions. They told me how to answer the question. The first question. Do you have health insurance. They told me to answer no. I was told to answer no again to the second question. I was to say I want an individual plan. The next answer $300 a month. The next annual income $25,000. Next answer no. Next answer was yes. I had health insurance but I lost it month ago. The last was my age. I was to say 60 and born in 1962. If I answer all these questions they would verify. I would be transferred to the initial person I spoke with. I would receive a $2450 check through UPS. When they transferred me I asked what company are you with. He gave me the same name. I did not answerer any of their questions. I hung up Somehow they knew my address. I do not have the phone number that called. I wanted to report the call.
