Scam Description

Recieved phone call from the number 316-261-6974. Person on the other end said government was giving free money that did not have to be paid back ever. Said it was due to the economy and I was selected because I hadn’t recently filed bankruptcy, no criminal record. Ask my age then said my free Money Grant would be$1000. I was asked did I want it put on card or western union. I said debit card so they asked for card information and dummy me gave it to them. She proceeded to give me a money confirmation ID code and a telephone number to call back, which was 206-259-5963. A gentleman answered and asked for the code and I gave it to him. He then said in order to get the free money Grant I needed to go purchase a ebay card for $200. I said no I am flat broke and I want u to delete my information and my card number and you do not have my permission to take any money what so ever out of my account. He then got a bit agitated and raised his voice and said well if u don’t want the free Money then I will take your name off of my list. I again said I want you to delete my information and you do not have my permission to take any money out of my account and he hung up on me. Now that I think about it he is the same gentleman that called me 2weeks ago about a loan and was supposed to call me back but didn’t and then when I called him the next day he just answered hello and I said u called me from your work number yesterday and I call you bk today and you just say hello. And he apologized and said how are you and I was frustrated so I said I was frustrated and asked how he was and he said “,Not good not good at all my girlfriend left me and I don’t know why. And proceeded to almost laugh at me. And then yesterday 3 tines 3different “companies” tried to take $57.99 out if my checking account. So now I am going to have to cancel my card and get a new account. I had also canceled a free-trial for scorescense 5days into the trial offer and they took $29.95 out of my account. I have emailed them several times but still no response back from them.
