Scam Description
I was contacted via text by a person claiming they work for a company called Unipolre. They told me that they found my resume on Monster.com and were interested and wanted to conduct an interview for a remote data entry clerk position that they needed to be filled asap. I agreed to the interview. I gave them my email address and I received a request from an “Interviewer” named Done Wiley. I accepted the contact. He introduced himself and said that the interview would be conducted through text. He went on to tell me how long he had been working for the company but not really giving me any real information about the company, all he kept typing was “check out our website.” After the so-called interview was conducted, he then proceeded to ask me for my address so he that he could send me a check to purchase the materials I needed for the job. he told me that the position pays $44/hr.
