Scam Description
This is the second scam about getting a remote job I’ve been involved in this year. The first scam took money and I lost a bank account. This time, I was smarter and recognized the signs. NO ONE, should be printing a check and making a mobile deposit. That’s not legit! If a company can not send you the materials that you need to start work, it’s not legit! Even if they send you the money to do it yourself, it should be sent to you in a form of legit payment.
I notified the first company about the scam and the fraud department responded right away. Expressed an apology and said they would never send a check through email.
These bad people need to stop. There are real people in this world that need jobs.
