Scam Description
a man called asking to speak with someone in accounts payable. he tells me his name is NATHAN from the collections dpt for DAE RECOVERY SERVICES. Says our 90 day free trial from YELLOW PAGES 1 from 2020-2021 expired and that yellow pages has attempted to send us 5 invoices (i asked what address and he correctly named ours). and that they BOUGHT OUR ACCOUNT days ago and are attempting to settle the account. We MUST pay within 3 days to avoid being credit reported. I asked for more information and was provided these vague details below. He claims we owe $1,836.40. ($1,500.00 before “late fees and interest”).
