Scam Description
I typed into google register for EIN and clicked what appeared at first glance to be the IRS website. I filled out all of the information as if it was the IRS website to file for an EIN number and then paid 297 dollars thinking that was the fee. as soon as I did, I realized that it is free to apply for an EIN and this was some third party who just transcribed the information that I gave them into the IRS website for free and charged me $297 to do it.
