Scam Description
Caller claimed to be a ConEd service technician who was calling because a bill payment had not been processed. He asked if I had received the bill. He told me to call 800-210-2372, extension 1, to speak with their bill department. I asked how much I owe and he claimed that he did not have that information on his ticket and that I needed to call the 800 number to avoid loss of service.
