Scam Description
The scammer posed as a real-estate representative looking to see if I would sell my timeshare in MX. The inquired about the location of the property, type of unit, # of weeks I owned, ownership status/term, and my Annual Maintenance fees. They indicated they would buy my timeshare from me and get back to my w/in 24 hours with a written offer. An agent of the firm called me on behalf of his sales mgr offering $XX,XXX for my timeshare and asked if I received the email yet. I hadn’t but told him I would look for it. I did receive the email and it literally mirrored what the other person said their email indicated. It all seems to good to be true .
