Scam Description
On July17, I was making hotel reservations at the Lake Powell resort for October 6-9, and I thought I was on their website but apparently I was redirected elsewhere. I didn’t become aware of it until I tried to cancel the reservations. I received a confirmation email with Confirmation number. When I did Google search for ihotelier.com, website can’t be reached. I did find reservations.iholtier.com, and there was a place to enter confirmation number and last name. Reservation doesn’t exist. I sent an email to them from the confirmation email requesting reservation be cancelled. Undeliverable. Thankfully credit card has not been charged yet. Credit card company has been advised.
