Scam Description
I received an email saying that I had purchased a recurring item for my computer. I have never purchased my own computer. The foreign individual then told me to log into my computer so he could help me cancel the $485 hold. He would not give me any information except that he was going to help me cancel and give me a password. You could hear another guy in the background talking to someone else saying the same thing. I checked my bank account and have no holds. He kept saying he could ‘clear’ my server for me. I hung up on him
