Scam Description
The scam was sent over email. It was an invoice for a payment that they said had been deducted from my account for $349.99. There was a customer service number which I called. The invoice was from “geek squad“. The person on the other line said that they were some Americe something or other. And that they hadn’t charged me any money because I didn’t have an account with them. With such an obvious scam. However I wonder if I had not open the email if the charge would’ve gone through to my bank.
