Scam Description
I received a text stating they were from publishers clearing House that I had won seven and a half million dollars and a Mercedes. They gave me a number to call which I did it was 855-815-4240 and they answered the phone with publishers clearing House told them my Fry’s number and they said oh you want eight and a half million dollars all I had to do was reported to Walmart to get some kind of certificate I asked how much that would cost and he said $499. After that I must have been quizing him too much because he hung up on me. Also the text that he had sent me vanish from my phone. I have no idea how they can do that
