Scam Description
It was a 2nd place from a lottery that PCH “does/did” 1x per year. They had been attempting to reach me as an “unclaimed” prize.
Since I am familiar with PCH and have been for years, I was not on my A-game.
The person, Ashley Poe, even claimed to be a deacon of her church, would never cause harm, it is against Jesus, and worked for 22 yrs at PCH. She “was the manager of the unclaimed prize department,” so she said.
Money was to cover interstate transfer of out of state prizes, as per IRS, and money was to go to IRS.
(It sounds stupid now, but made sense at the time.)
