Scam Description
I received a voicemail stating i was 3rd place winning in the 1 Million Dollar Wheel of Fortune All Give-Away. When calling back, I spoke with Joe Miller. He sounded very professional. Asked me some questions, address, birthdate but no account numbers, no social security number (I know not to give out). He wanted me to go a purchase a Claimers Card/Gift Card for $250.00. Called it a OneVanilla card. I pretended to go and purchase this. He wanted me to give him the card #. I refused to do so. Ii told him I wasn’t paying for a winner prize. Give me my prize and then I will give you the Card #. I ended up hanging up on him. He said i could not get my prize unless i paid him the $250.00 first.
