Scam Description
Person from Nigeria impersonating Jeon Jungkook of BTS reached out to me via IG dms. He moved me to Google Chat. For 8 months, he along with his management and government teams scammed me for over $60,000. Many people were involved in the transferring of monies. He used blackmail tactics. I blocked him many times and he found me somehow. Finally, he asked me for my FB user name and password. I never use FB so I gave it to him. I received a Login Alert which told me he was from Nigeria. I geotracked him to Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Never send money to anyone you have not met in person. If they ask you to move to another texting platform such as Google Chat, REPORT, BLOCK, and DELETE them. That is your final warning before the scammer professes undying love for you and asks you for money. They are clever but you are smarter.
