Scam Description
I went to what I thought was CafeMam’s web site ((cafemam.com) ordering 2 pounds of therapy roast coffee that cost $25. Instead, my entry got hijacked to a phony web site that looked identical to CafeMam’s web site where I completed the order. To my dismay, my order went to Kate Minimalist’s company. I found that out when I finally got only 1/2 lb of coffee instead of 2 pounds, and the return address said Kate Minimalist. I even called CafeMam and they didn’t have any record of my order from their online website for that order. I never received my 2 pounds of coffee I ordered either. Instead I only got a half pound, and they charged me $26.70 more than if my transaction went through on CafeMam’s web site (they only charge $6.75 for a half pound). What Kate Minimalist Co. does is buy up quantities of CafeMam’s coffee then steal their customer’s order by redirecting online orders to their phony web site and rip customers off.
