Scam Description
I am a 74 year old senior citizen . my car had broken down on the road I called the 800 number for enterprise rental and the number that I received was 866-584-2495 they informed me that they were representing the car rental company I was informed to go to Walmart get an American Express gift card put $260 on it for the rental car and they would bring the car out to me the American Express card number is *************** expiration ***** number on the back *** once the tow truck reached my car it was discovered that the problem was my battery ;therefore ,I Did not need to tow it to the repair shop. the tow guy started it and then I did not have to use a rental car so I immediately call that number back to inform them to cancel out the rental the representative that answered the phone name was Gloria she told me that she would cancel out the rental and that the money would be refunded to my car no later than the following morning which was February 15 today I have not gotten my refund back on the American Express card the number that I previously rented the car from they won’t answer they blocked my number and they told me that I was calling the wrong company they have my $200 and will not refund it back to me I need some assistance in securing my refund my name is ***** ** ***** my phone is ************ I appreciate your time and assistance in advance thank you very much
