Scam Description
This apartment building actively and knowingly engages in fraud. As you will see from its website, they will advertise a move-in special ranging from *8-10* weeks free. They will even include additional perks such as a $1000 look and lease discount and free parking for 6 months.
I negotiated with Junction regarding my lease terms for over a month. I requested a copy of my lease several times before finally receiving a copy of the lease agreement three (3) business days before my move-in date – which is hardly any time at all to properly review a lease agreement that is over 80 pages long with fine print and multiple addendums.
The lease agreement clearly specifies those months this *special* is to be applied. Nevertheless, when those specific months rolled around I received multiple “Notices to Pay Rent or Quit” posted to my door demanding rent and phone calls asking how I intend to resolve the money demanded. These Notices were posted to my neighbor’s doors presumably as victims of the same circumstances I find myself in. I have attempted to contact management to clear things up as to whether you owe the money or not and to put an end to this harassment for over three weeks and each and every one of my emails are ignored. I see them continue to post these Notices to neighbors’ doors and I have read reviews online that this is something that they do. I noticed that many of the residents are international and I believe it is their goal to just have residents pay the amount *allegedly* due to avoid a problem.
