Scam Description
I was trying to reach Home Depot’s appliance service website with ALLstate and was directed to Home Assurance’s website instead due to a typo. Their website claimed an A+ rating with BBB but they are not listed. A Google map search for their corporate address in Fort Worth shows a coffee shop. The TX Secretary of State’s business entity search also does not show a business registration for this company. It appears to be a scam preying on people like me who misspell the website for Home Depot’s warranty website.
