Scam Description
I received a voice mail last week stating they were the Publishers Clearing House and I won $7,000 a week. When I returned the phone call asking for the claim department, they transferred me to another gentleman that I couldn’t understand and they wanted me to open up a new bank account at my current bank so they could transfer the money to the account. The also wanted me to go to Dollar General and purchase 2 green cards at $800 a piece. He hung because I told him I didn’t have that kind of money.
