Scam Description

I posted item for sale on facebook marketplace. Sabine P Birke messaged interest and asked if still available. I said yes. She/he asked when I was available to pick up of the item. I said this afternoon. She asked if I accepted payment through Zelle. I said yes. She asked me to provide Zelle info. I sent a rarely used email address that I use for sales of this type. She messaged that she would send the money. She then message again that she sent an email with payment. I had read about the Zelle scam and this one fit one of known scams. The email said that the amount was over what I could receive in my account and that I need to ask for more room by clicking on a link etc. There was mention of $300 or $400 overpayment or something similar. See document uploaded for exact email. I replied that I would not click on email and that it appeared to be a common Zelle FB Marketplace scam. The email return address does look like it could be legit, so I can see why some might be fooled. Bottom line for me is when someone asks for other convoluted transactions that are not necessary or needed to sell something on FB. Next time, I’ll insist on using Paypal. Of course, she left the conversation immediately. I reported her to FB via the report link in messenger. (Note: befor I started communicating with her, I checked her profile page which had lots of pictures and looked legit. It was probably stolen.)
