Scam Description
I received a phone call claiming that an Apple computer had been purchased through Amazon using my ID. It directed me to remain on the line if I wished to dispute this purchase. I hung up at this point. No personal information was exchanged. I believe that this was a phishing scam intending to collect money or personally identifiable information. This is not the method of contact normally used by Amazon or Apple.
