Scam Description
I received the attached flyer in the mail. It was about the cares act homeowners help fund. This is a real thing the government is offering. But this company after getting my information my bills and my mortgage statement and stuff like that tried to charge me $1,955 to do my loan. I didn’t have the money so I didn’t pay it. But after doing some research I realized that they’re not allowed to charge you to do the application. They’re not supposed to charge. This is a government-funded program that is to help people in need. So why would the government ask for $2,000 almost?
Please investigate this company to help stop other people from being victimized like I almost was. Thank you.
