Scam Description
I had 3 family members outside of my household receive a call and voicemail. They left no company name and no name of the person calling. The message identified a case number and threatened that “I have been notified” of the case that will be filed against me. here is what the VM said. ” This call is for ‘”my name” . This call is pertaining to a document that that has been filed against me and schedule for delivery at this time. You are granted an opportunity to contact the office to retrieve your case details. With case # XXXXX and the last 4 digits of my SSN.!!!!”unfortunately failure to contact the office will result in a voluntary decision based on your behalf, You have now been notified.
