Scam Description
I was called by the first number given. In a voicemail a recorded voice told me to call the second number stating my account, which i do not have, qualified for 50% off all my bills and to call them back asap. Knowing i didnt and that my legal information was not connected to my phone number i called the second number and was greeted by a recorded voice that does not match the automated voice for xfinity said the entire beginning that xfinity calls have. It gave me 4 options, pay bill, account details, a third one i dont remember, and other inquiries. I pressed account details and instead of xfinity’s normal identifying questions i was taken directly to a “representative” that was not in the country. I then called xfinity and confirmed that neither number belong to xfinity. The rep i talked to tried the second number which just rang busy and xfinity only uses 800 numbers and so the 615 number was automatically flagged as fraud.
