Scam Description
This company uses a deceptive conflicting/double return policy. At the point of purchase, there is a “Shipping and Returns” drop-down menu, where it says they accept returns on all items within 30 days. There is no asterisk or “see full return policy” or anything indicating the many exception they have hidden in some extremely difficult to find place on the website, which does not even appear to be searchable based on my attempts. I tried to return an item, and they refused because it was discounted. Based on on the return policy disclosed at point of purchase, “all items” should have included mine. They emailed me a link showing a lengthy return policy with a lot of fine print. Again, I looked for it on the website and couldn’t find anything other than the “we accept returns on all items” policy. It appears they hide this somewhere so when an organization like yourself investigates them, they can make it look like they’re being honest, when it’s not directly disclosed to customers, and conflicts with what is disclosed at point of purchase. Bank of America agreed and awarded me the dispute. I want others to be aware of this.
