Scam Description
The scammer called on my home phone and said that they were the “Police Association” and then said “Can you hear me”? I said “yes” and they wanted a donation of money. I realized that this was a recording because it did not answer my question but was seeking information and money. This is not the first time this scam called my home. It said “would you like to be removed from the do not call list” and said “Yes”. After looking this up, I found that I should not have said “yes” twice and am worried why they wanted me to say yes on a recorded line twice.
