Scam Description
Received multiple voicemails from “Kelly Richards” from the “Employee Refund Department” claiming my business is eligible to receive $26k per employee retained during pandemic. Researched and found an article dated from July 22 with the ERD name and saying this is a scam because these funds are no longer being distributed, period. While I did not return the call, apparently they charge a fee or whatnot to access bank account info.
It would be nice if the authorities would find these people and put them in jail for stealing from hard-working Americans!
